Question

Hi, I have a opel Vectra C, GTS version, from 2003with the 2.2DTi engine. After an accident, the electric steering pump is down. I need a new one... and my opel dealer asks me 900€ + VAT for a new one!!! (by the way, I am from Spain). Can you help me in finding some special shop that rebuilds those type of steering pumps? I have contacted one via EbAY, but would like to have more options. Thanks in advance

2003 Opel vectra C 2.2DTi

Already Tried:
I have tried to find a steering pump in "car junkiards" in spain (were you leave old, acidented cars... don't know the xact word in english) with no luck.
So my actual only option is to pay 600€ for a rebuilt one or 900€ for a new one, always through the official Opel store.
i know that some shops are specialised in rebuilding these pumps, but cannot find their adresses in UK.

hi there. you can try this website although i dont know if they will ship to spain. its www.findapart.co.uk. you put in what you are looking for and they will come back to you with a price. cheers. davie
