Answer

odan,

antiphospholipid syndrome resulting in miscarriage - 325 mg aspirin per day.

If you have had a blood clot diagnosed (DVT or PE) - anticoagulation is indicated life long.

my gyni diagnosed APS in pregnancy and my GP says it is somthing i will always have had and will always have ..... is this true

Answer

odan,

yes. you have always had it and always will. For that reason you should be diligent about avoiding things that make one prone to blood clots, particularly oral contraceptive pills. Furthermore it would be in your best interest that you make your condition known if you need surgery for appropriate prophylaxis following surgery.
