I have been experiencing pelvic pain for 4 years. i have had several ultra sounds> I had one on the 18th and it found a complex cyst on my left ovary. Also found mass in left breast on same day. I am having core biopsy the 31st but could not get in to see a GYN about the complex cyst until mid Feb. Should I wait or should I try to find someone to see me sooner?

Complex cyst is commonly benign, due to opvulation, so it would seem safe to wait- it may go away by then.

I have not ovulated since 2003. Why is everything that i have been reading stress the importance of having this took care of ASAP.

Not sure what you've been reading?
Comples cysta usually benign, no matter the cause- should be checked out if not ovulating, to determine why, & obviously rule-out malignancy, but this does not seem urgent.
Ask the Dr doing breast biopsy,for an opinion, to help alleviate fear.
