The appliance is a Bosch Dryer. WTA3204GB/09.
The appliance lost heat although the drum spins perfectly.
I have had the heating element checked and is OK.
It would appear that if the appliance is turned off and restarted it will not heat up unless I keep the restart button pressed until the drum rotates in both directions. Again, if I turn off the appliance, it will only heat if I repeat the process.
Hiya,
When the machine is on the last 10 minutes of drying is the heater still switched on?
There has to be a reason for the thermostat tripping and the only thing that makes it trip is excessive heat.
Your machine should heat for the duration of the time and in the last 10 minutes it goes into cool down, whereby it tumbles with no heat.
If you set it to 15 mins on the dial you'll be able to check this quite quickly.
If it is continuing to heat then it would point to a problem with the power module.
Hope this helps
Thanks
