I cannot find that model# in the look-up. I am in the US, but most all models still show up in the part break-down.

I think I made a slight mistake

Bosch Exxcel 1400
Product Number E-Nr : WFO2864GB (I had this as a zero 0 not the letter O)

Answer

Heater fits into bottom of tub from the front. The whole front of the machine must come off to get to it; it is somewhat an involved process if you don't do this regularly.

Are you able to send me copies of the relevant pages from the Service Manual maybe as a pdf so that I can attempt to do this I have managed to locate the part. I am an Audio/Visual engineer experienced in taking equipment apart to repair or fault find.

Ok That is too impractical.I appreciate that you responded quickly.I suggest that you invest in a cheap flat bed scanner which would mean you would be able to produce Pdf files from the manual.I hope that does not sound too harsh. I am desperate to resolve this issue myself if possible.

Bosch does not even have a manual I can scan- that's the issue.

To get off the front you can use your skills as it is not tricky, just involved. Briefly- top comes off, console comes off, bottom comes off, remove door boot clamp, remove door lock mechanism, unscrew main front and it will lift off. Thanks
