Answer

The seat release is in the car and the seat will not release from the trunk. The best solution is to carefully pry at the top of the door and hit either the door lock button or the power lock button with a snaked in wire hanger.

Can yousee the release for the rear seat and possibly hook that with a hanger?

can't get the doors opened enough to get a hanger in there

Accepted Answer

A locksmith would carefully pry on the door and put a small wood wedge. He would then use a wire or hanger the same way I am suggesting. It is realy the only way. Either reach for a door handle or for one of the rear seat release straps
