Question

I have 7 cats. The 3 yr. old attacked my 2 mo. old kitten, sending it to the ER. How can I stop his aggression? (Yes, both are neutered).

Optional Information

Age: 3; Male; Breed: siamese mix

Already Tried:
Introducing the two. Introducing the two with both in carriers near each other. Scolding older cat.
Have resorted to separating, keeping kitten in a guest bedroom. The 3 yr. old is the youngest in the house prior to a neighbor abandoning this kitten. They are the only males, but both were neutered early. The 3 yr. old seems to want to kill the kitten, but tolerates all the other cats.

The 3 yr. old put a 2 1/2 in. slice on the abdomen and 2 cm. ones on the chest, plus numerous puncture wounds. The 3 yr. old is contantly in attack mode directed at this kitten. I segregate the kitten, but the 3 yr. old sits outside the door. I am not sure this will resolve even when the kitten grows up. Any ideas?
