I have heard of insurance companies pulling crash data from the crash module, but the dealerships don't have access to this info through our scan tools.

thanks

That's what I've heard. My insurance company didn't pull it and we can't get an answer as to why. I'm an ex caddilac tech and I can retrieve their data but I can't figure out how Ford is retrieving theirs. Someone has to have a way to read this with what I believe to be a version 1 software. It's very important that I find that company. Do you know a contact at Ford or a company that can do this?
