How do I reset the timer to shut the inside lights off on my 1993 Mercury Sable LS?

Answer

the timer is not adjustable,inspect the door ajar light switches in the door jams for sticking.Also make sure the dimmer rheostat isn't in the up position. You may need to remove the door jam switches to test if they are stuck or shorted. Hope this helps.

Where is the timer and can it changed?

The module is replacable and is located in the trunk on the bottom side of rear window tray.
