Question

My employer owes about $50,000 in wages to current employees. Some from months back. We believe the company can go under any day now. How can we get paid? She owes me over $2200 at the moment, which constitutes 4 weeks of pay.

Answer

You should report the short payment to the state labor department and then sue in small claims court for the balance outstanding plus court costs.
