Hello and welcome to JustAnswer.com. You are saying that you take Depakote and Abilify--I am assuming for bipolar disorder. Your doctor will tell you when to take your blood tests, and they are very important. Please do not skip them. Most of the people I see with bipolar take blood tests as often as once a week, until they have reached a therapeutic level of the drug in their blood, then they can check in with a follow up blood test about every three months.

I hope this has been helpful. Please follow your doctor's suggestions on this. I wish you well. Take care.
