Question

I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado that won't start. I know it is getting gas and the fuel pump is working. The starter is also turning. Do you think it could be the alternator?

The alternators only job is to charge the battery while the engine is running. It will not keep it from starting. How have you verified operation of the fuel pump?
