Question

I helped a friend install a AH08X10NA air handler which was given to him. There is no owners manual. The unit does fine with one heat strip but won't kick in the second strip. On the low voltage terminal the terminals are left to right R,C,S1,S2,G,T. Which termial should I look to bring the second heat strip?

Info Request

trace your big wires from the heat banks to sequencer or relay, let me know if they go to 1 sequencer or 2 relays. if it is two relays, give me the wire colors of the smaller two wires on each relay.

Answer

Given the info you provided I researched coleman and all ther air handlers show w1 w2 for heat this must be older air handler but I would guess that si would first stage and s2 second stage which if you don,t have two stage stat jump s1 and s2 together
