My timer on my potterton performa 30HE don't tick round. I have tried changing the timer but the problem persists what is the likely cause of this?

Power interuption , bad contol module , no gas supply ,blockage in venting or drainage,any sound at all when you turn the timer/thermostat up

The heating works when switched to the constant setting it is the module not turning to keep the time therefore I have no timer.
