i am trying to locate where the crankshaft poistion sensor is on my daughters 2001 pontiac grand prix. 3.8 litr motor. not used to the newer autos.

hello<br />the crank shaft sensor is in the back of the motor right in the middle   i know that some 3.8 have 2 crankshaft sensors so also check the main pulley witch is the crankshaft it may be there but they are easy to find with 1 small screw to remove it. has 2-3 wires coming out of it.<br />if you still cant find it let me know
