Question

WHY IS MY KITTEN ALL THE SUDDEN UNACTIVE, UNINTERESTED,AND HAS LOSS OF APPATITE? FOR THE LAST TWO DAYS OUR KITTEN WHO IS APPROX. 4-5 MO'S. OLD,HAS BEEN LAYING ON OUR BED. I CAN'T RECALL HER EVEN GETTING UP TO USE THE POTTYBOX. HER NOSE IS DRY, AND WHEN SHE CHANGED POSITIONS, I FELT THE PILLOW AND IT WAS VERY VERY WARM. NO DIARRHEA,
VOMITTING, I WAS LOOKING AT A CAT BOOK I HAVE, WHICH MENTIONED WHITE GUMS, SO I DECIDED TO CHECK THEM. I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT NORMAL LOOKS LIKE, IF I HAD TO SAY SOMETHING, I SAW MORE WHITE THAN PINK. HER BREATHING IS DEEP,BUT KINDA FAST. NO SIGN OF ANY PAIN, AND THERE'S DEFINETLY NO SIGN OF PLAY. OH YEAH, HER COAT LOOKS OILY AND DIRTY. SHE DOES HAVE FLEAS. I BATHE HER REGULARLY, CUZ, THEY GET PRETTY BAD ON HER. SHE IS AN INDOOR CAT. WE HAVE LET HER OUT A FEW TIMES WITH US, BECAUSE SHE CRIES NON-STOP THE MOST AGONIZING, HEARTBROKEN,PITIFUL, LONELY, CRIES I'VE NEVER HEARD BEFORE.MY BOYFRIEND LET HER OUT JUST THE OTHER NITE, SHE WAS OUT FOR SOMETIME,JUST POKING AROUND THE YARD WITH MY CAT (WHO NEVER LEAVES THE YARD WITHOUT ME)I WAS IN THE HOUSE SO I'M NOT SURE HOW SUPERVISED SHE WAS. THERE ISN'T ANY CHEMICALS LAYING AROUND. NOTHING LIKE THAT. SHE IS A MANX KITTEN ABOUT 4 OR 5 MONTHS OLD. USUALLY VERY ACTIVE. CLIMBING THE WALLS. TRYING TO BEAT US UP. CHASING OUR FEET. AS OF YESTERDAY MORNING SHE HAS BEEN LAYING ON OUR BED SLEEPING.

Answer

I'm concerned about what you said about frequent bathing. Check your shampoo for information on the poison in it and if it says its a chlorinesterase inhibitor on the label then the cat may be over loaded with toxins and need to see the vet.
I'd suggest a vet trip anyhow as the behavior and appearance of your cat is an indication of her being ill.
She's a bit young to be in season but crying and wanting out go along with that so check how old she is and see if her vulva seems swollen as some of what you see may be related to that.
She may have chewed on something in the garden, she may have swallowed something like string or thread or bits of a toy or houseplant inside too.
You are good at spotting her symptoms quickly and the next step is for an in person vet exam for your pet to see what is wrong and what can be done to help her.
Here is a site that lists plants toxic to cats

Hope this helps you!
