Hi. I just tried to start my X5... the lights turn on, seat moves, radio plays, but it won't start. AND, i now can't get my key OUT of the ignition! I guess i have 2 problems: 1) care won't start and 2) can't get my key out of the ignition. Help please!

Well, i'm an idiot... in my haste to get out of the garage, i put it in reverse (which is why the key wouldn't come out)... and now i can hear the engine turning so i guess my battery is just about dead. I think i figured out my problems. thanks.

what engine is it? does it crank or just click?
try running a tiny bit of wd40 down the ign key hole, but not much incase it runs into the ign switch, and just keep working it untill it comes out. daft question, its not an auto in neutral is it?
