Question

this morning when i woke up and went and got my daughter and brought her downstairs to change her i experienced sweating like a cold sweat along with salivating and lightheaded. i had to sit on the floor and remove my shirt just to calm myself down. the sweating was very heavy back of my neck. I am a 5'9 female 31 of age 135 lbs. Is this something serous? please if you can help. Thank you

thank you, i was not in any pain
my daughter weight is about 30lb and i never have any trouble picking her up.
i did not eat cause i have just gotten up
i do not think i suffer from anxiety and if i do it is very little.
i do not take any medications
i do not have any medical conditions, but i do believe i may have blood sugar problem

Thank you. Did you eat or drink something after this episode, if so what? Did it make it better or did this go away on it's own. Also, please tell me what blood sugar problems you may think you have?

i did drink some orange juice after, i feel okay but not myself .. very out of it weak.
the eposide lasted for about a miniut a did go away on it's own.

i think i may have low blood sugar or hyperglocimic spelled wrong.
in the past i have had epsodes like this that i thought was nothing . i do get shaky sometimes if i haven't eaten in a while.

Thank you. As you suspect, this does indeed sound like a hypoglycemic episode. There are different causes, one of the most common is lack of proper nutrition (in a healthy individual, without diabetes). The best way to prevent this is small, frequent snacks.
You should have it checked out by a doctor because it may signify that you are having other issues.
The other possibility is that you had what is known as a vagal episode. This is when a vagus nerve activates due to anxiety or stress or pain or shock. It can give you the same effects but more prominent including fainting.
