Can you provide some more specifics? Is the disc a DVD that was bought at the store with the movie already on it? Is the disc a DVD that was created by someone and burned? Is the disc something else entirely?
Will the DVD player play any other discs?
There are so many places that the problem could be, it is virtually impossible to determine that via this communication mode. If it is still under warranty, I would suggest that you contact Insignia to have it repaired or replaced. If it isn't under warranty, I would suggest that you either take it to a technician to repair or replace the unit.
I know this isn't necessarily what you wanted to hear, but it is, unfortunately, the only thing that can be done right now.
