Do I need to get me a attorney for my case for getting extra compensating, or should I trust my Labor Union in handling. Which they did not promise just very little compensation.

It best to have counsel work along side the union rep. Keep in mind you may be able to get counsel on contingency so it does not cost you a thing unless you recover.
