Already Tried:
November 26 2008 at 9:19 AM I was in contact with Rath who repaired my problem of sound, now December 4 I'm having the same problem again. Could you send me the same link I received on Nov. 26th to repair the same problem? I suppose "Windows OneCare" was the reason.

No problem you can reinstall it, if you downloaded it, and have deleted the files you can re download it. http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/install/install.htm
The only problem I can see is you have to have a user name and password.

Michael,

I rather do not reinstall onecare.live.com because it is blocking other concurrent softwares and my computer stops completely.

Could you not send me the same solution as before? .....

Hi Hugo,

My deepest apologies for not noticing this thread earlier ..lemme quote the solution which had worked for you in the earlier thread, as follows:

In that case, please go to the following link:
http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/support/downloads.html
Done that, enter AMILO D7850 in the product field given, in order to show the available support & downloads for your notebook model. Now, scroll down to the Drivers list, then click on the (+) icon next to Audio to show the sound driver name for the product as: Sound - SiS 7012 Audio Driver; click on the same. Thereafter, in the next window, check the I accept the license conditions option and click on the Download software
button to download the sound device driver, and run the setup file accordingly.

Hope it helps ..let me know how it goes.
