Question
I own a 2008 Volvo V50 1.8F. Using regular unleaded petrol on motorway driving 12km per hour speeds, the best fuel economy I can achieve is 34mpg. If using Flexi fuel the return is 20mpg at best. My dealership advise me that this is normal as they are " rather heavy on fuel" Is this correct???

Answer
This sounds like an average economy.
I would be happy if my car got anywhere near that.
