Optional Information

1993 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan 3.1

Already Tried:
Had to remove rear auxiliary springs to replace struts. Normally you can insert a bolt between the two brackets that compress this Rubber spring but the threads were rusted and couldt get the bolt to start. No I have the threads cleaned out where a bolt will go in and out but I cant compress the rubber mount enough to get the bolt in .

Answer

Your best bet is going to be to see if someone has the special tool for compressing and installing them. A dealer will have it, but I don't know what kind of luck you may or may not have borrowing it. Your other option is to try some larger parts stores and see if they have it and would rent it too you. It is a Kent Moore tool and the number is J35778. ThanksBob39778.7013917477
