Hi XXXXXXXXXXX,
At this age, I suspect that your glider may be suffering from a calcium nutritional deficiency. However, this should be confirmed by your regular veterinarian. I recommend that you take him in as soon as possible to your vet. In the meantime, you will need to continue to keep him warm and help him to eat and drink. I recommend using an eye dropper or small syringe to offer water. You can also offer fruit juice which will give him some calories to improve his strength. I would offer a little bit every 1 to 2 hours.
You can also offer food in the form of human baby food. Use a vegetable/meat combination and the eye dropper/syringe to put a little bit in his mouth. After he swallows, you can continue to give a little more.
Please let me know if you need help finding a veterinarian to take him to. Good luck,
Dr. Kris
i can't take him to a vet. i just fixed my car and cant afford to. every vet clinic that would look at him doesn't do care credit(a credit care for animal care only). if you know of one please tell me.
