i have a 1190 k1500 the front axel wont lock in when transfer case is engaged the actuator in the front diff isnt getting a signal what tells it to work

Already Tried:
took actuator out of front punkin hooked to 12volts and it cycled whatever tells it transfercase has been put in 4wheel isntworkig also checked fuse its good

There is a switch on top of the transer case that applies power to the actuator when you shift it-it has a ball that moves on the selector rod and the ball may be stuck-or you have a electrical problem,
