Not an Employment Law Question?
Question
What if the company you work for is acquired, and the new company's offices are more than 90 minutes away — is there a way you can tell them the commute is too long and get a severance? I have been working for a company for ten years when they were acquired. I had to change my commute from 45-60 minutes to 2 hours each way. I did it for a year but it is really taking it's toll on me. Can you help me? And can you refer me to a labor lawyer if necessary? Thank you. Pat
