I have a 2003 Rendevous. The heat works on the drivers side but cold air blows out on the passender side

Disconnect the right side temperature door actuator. <br /><br />2. Place a test light across the two wires. <br /><br />3. Test light should light as the temperature is switched from hot to cold and cold to hot. <br /><br />4. If so, remove the actuator and verify that the door linkage is free and not binding. <br /><br />5. If so, replace the temperature door motor. <br /><br />6. If the light did not light, check the wires to the control head and replace the control head <br /><br /><br /><br />Thank you again for trusting us with your problem. I really can't answer those questions. Where would would be the temperature door actuator be located.

The right side actulator is locate on the right side heater box behing the dash.

Answer

Remove the actuator and see if is working when you change the passenger side temperature, if doesnt work when you change temperature on the passenger side replace the actulator.

Do you have a more detail picture of the actulator? I can see the image you sent behind the dash not sure what to unplug. Is take whole thing a actulaor?

I found the actulator, but I also found a little white piece of plastic with a spring attached that was loose and came out right above it.

I hooked up the plastic piece and everything seems to move correctly. I could not start the car due to being in the garage and my child asleep. Will the heat work with out being start completly.
