I was just told that I may be entitled to a share in my mother's estate. I don't even know if I want to try. So in the course of lookning for SC law I found this website and asked.

You could only collect from her estate if she disinherited by being able to prove that her will is invalid due to fraud, lack of mental capacity, duress or improper execution.
