In the State of Massachusetts who can sign a death certificate? Can an Oral & Maxillofacial Dentist sign a MA death certificate?

A dentist cannot sign a Massachusetts death certificate. Here is the Massachusetts law about this issue - a physician, medical examiner or duly appointed hospital medical officer may sign the death certificate.
