I do have a plate where I can attach a PTO device, and I didn't see a plug to fill with trany fluid

That's weird, it had another box where i entered a bunch more info.

It is a manual transmission.

Answer

The fill/level plug is on the side of the transmission about halfway up on the left side,the fluid should be at or just below the bottom of the fill hole or level with it. The fluid is Mercon auto trans fluid.
