hi, i have a zenith sy2568s tv. it is about 12 years old. problem: the color rendering is off: has a bluish/reddish hue to it. About every 10 minutes, suddenly all that is visible is the red part of the image, like the red and green is no longer there. We turn it off and on, then it is back to the bluish/reddish hue.

the color has the reddish/bluish hue all the time. nothing is connected to the tv. nothing was done otherwise to it.

Click on the links below to get your service manual for your tv set,there is a way to adjust the convergence of the colors on your tv set,if for some reason after adjusting the convergence the problem is still there then the problem is coming from the convergence circuit,this circuit would have to be troubleshooted to find out which component is giving you the problem,if you were to take it to a tv repair shop this procedure should not be more than 150 dollars to get your tv set up and running,but it depends,try the suggestion above first,hope this helps.
