First of all, thank you for spaying your pet. You did a great thing for not only her but for the pet population!! The most common side effect of a spay, which has to do with the lack of hormones is weight gain. You must now keep a very close eye on her weight, as she will be more prone to gaining now that she is spayed. Your girl is at a much lower risk of developing mammary cancer now that she is spayed and you have completely taken away the possability of her developing a life threatening condition known as pyometra or an infected uterus. But otherwise, you won't notice any change in personality which is what mose people fear. I hope this helps. IF you have any other specific questions feel free to ask!
