Answer

This will be a little bit labor intensive but not really too hard of a job. In a small bucket or other container put in a squirt or two of liquid dish washing soap. Then add about a quarter cup of household ammonia. Fill bucket with warm water. Have another bucket filled with cold water near by or if kitchen sink is close that will work also. Using a sponge mop apply the soapy water to an area of about 4' X 4'. Caution: Do not transfer very much water to the floor. Just the wet sponge mop. Scrub this area vigorously and rinse mop clean in cold water bucket or sink. Then wipe that area dry with a towel. Proceed to next 4' X 4' area.

The soap acts as the "surfactant" and holds the residue being released by the ammonia. Depending on the amount of was on your laminate you may need to do this a couple of time for each section.

PS.. Do not re-wax this floor. Laminate floors are designed to not be waxed.
