Question

How do i adjust the headlight angle on my 1999 e-46. the left side is pointing further down than the right side. I have tried turning the black knob behind the lamps, but nothing seems to change.

Turning what appears to be adjusting knob behind lamps, with no luck! Left light points further down than right light.

Hi, If you adjusted the knob that you use a phillips head screw driver in,and nothing happened,try to smack the headlight a couple times to try to get inside adjusters to move.have seen this happen before at dealer. will probley need a new headlight assy. to make sure go to right side and see if it moves.if it does you need new assy for left side. thanks any other ? please ask. thanks Mike
