The bottom of the feet?

Does the numbness involve any part of the calf, or back of the thigh as well?

OK.

Do you have any pain or weakness in the feet at all?

e.g. can you walk on your heels, then walk on your tip toes without a problem?

No Sirthe numbness is only on the inside of both feet I can walk on my heels and toes without any problem

Accepted Answer

OK.

It would seem that this numbness, specifically in the area that you describe, without any numbness going up the leg, and without pain or weakness in the feet, seems to be a local compression effect on the nerve.

Not having numbness or pain going up the leg likely rules out a lumbar disc herniation. The fact that you have good strength in the feet as well means the major nerves are working. The fact that the numbness is only in a specific area in the inside of the foot means it probably isn't blood pressure related (which would affect the entire foot). It seems it could be related to too-tight shoes that would have put pressure on the inside of the foot/ankle to compress a superficial nerve, causing the numbness, in which it probably would improve with time.
