Hello and Welcome to justanswe Ukcar.

Bypassing of the Pats system on your Fiesta is not possible... I do know that people have professed to do it- but unsuccesfully..

What is the problem you are having , maybe I can help you to fix it properley?

Kind Rgds... MIKE

The problem is with the wiring on the P.A.T.System.I had it repaired 3 months ago but it has gone again.I have ignition lights but the engine won't crank...which is what was wrong the last time i had it repaired. The dealer told me that they can't bypass the system because of the module on the pump.

Answer

Hello again.... Thank you for getting back to me...

Indeed, the immobiliser is on the pump - and the "way" that I referred to before - in general terms was to remove the stop solenoid from the pump and change it for a 'manual' one - or , run a single power wire to it.. and some people reckon that works..
As an advisor on justanswer, I can only give you what I know to be correct information - so, if you would like to try that method -- you now know what it is - ;) but I would advise tracking the problem down properly..

Usually the problem is in the wiring under the bonnet slam panel - where the bonnet shuts - you find cut or chaffed wires under there - and they are easily repaired...

The other area of fault is usually the 4 wire multiplug that connects the loom to the pump - very often, just loose or gammy connections in there --its a case of separating the plug and cleaning up or repairing the connections as needed and then that fixed...

I would recommend going down those lines first - especially as to get at the stop solenoid referred to earlier on the pump you have to remove the pump - or cut the anti theft quarter inch steel cover off first... I know which method I would prefer to tackle ! ;)

I take it - just to confirm, that the alarm LED is flashing rapid on the dash by the clock -indicating it is immobilsed...then if so, proceed as above...

I Sincerely hope I have helped you - Please ask me if you need more help...

Kind Rgds, MIKE
