Not an Employment Law Question?
Question
The Illinois dept of labor (IDOP) has served me notice that we have to pay prevailing wages on a project. We have told them that this is not a prevailing wage project and have asked them how they are determining they are making this claim. They will not tell us. We have a letter from the company that this is not a prevailing wage project but they refuse to look at it. How can i go about filing a appeal. I cannot find anywhere that i can file an appeal or a apeals board to have my case heard.
