Dan,
I cannot see the links such as "front console trim panel replacement - rt side." I am told I am not authorized to view this. Without being able to see these illustrations, this basically says, "remove the seats, remove the console side trim, disconnect electrical connectors. This is not specific enough to be helpful. Can I view the illustrations?

Let me see if I have it correct. Remove the seats. Pop off the front panel of the console. Are there screws under there to remove? Remove screws from side of console. Must the cup holders come out? Are there screws under there? After the cosole is out, is it easy to take out the Bose amplifier?

Answer

I don't see where the cupholders need to come out nor do I see where there are any screws to remove. I have removed a console from a 2005 Tahoe and there were screws under the side covers and center cubby hole. This design may be a little different though so you should know more after those outer panels are off. They are held on by retaining clips which release straight out. This picture shows screws being in the console and also how to remove the amplifier itself.
