Could you please be specific in answering my question: How has "The United States Government" managed to effectively outlaw Religiously-based polygamy between two (2) or more consenting adults? What about the constitutional right to be able to practice one's own religious traditions, such as polygamy; as such is the case with the Mormons and the Muslims. I did read somewhere that when congress and the majority of states agree that such a practice may likely interfare with the rights of others, such as the liberties of women and children, in such a practice, but how can it be wrong if the polygamous case only includes, and is limited to, two (2) or more consenting adults? How does The Lemon Test apply to this situation? I need to defend some polygamously charged couple, with adultery & fornification, also, as I was put on the defendant's legal team by my Legal Research & Writing professor, who made up this hypothetical case that I have to do my best to defend on the First Amendment's firts article clause of "freedom of religion." Please do help me with any leads or anything at all?

There was a $2.00 balance credit, which then directed me to pay an additional $7.00. I then added an additional $5.00, and still I have no answer to my "polygamy as a religious freedom," guaranteed by the first amendment, first clause, yet how then is it banned in the United States? What is a good argument for the consensual-adult polygamous marital arraingment for Mormons or Muslims, here?
