If "yes" to MRSA, how long is your antibiotic treatment course?
Does your mother have any health concerns that weaken her immune system?
MRSA can be present in the nose, blood, and urine, or on the skin. It is known to be spread by physical contact with infected persons or MRSA-contaminated surfaces/objects (droplet transmission by sneeze or cough may be possible). If your mother's immune system is weakened in any way, it would be wise to wait until your MRSA infection is cleared before she moves in.
