Question #1:    I am a westerner and I have been working for a UK company in the UAE, But my contract was for a position inside KSA and signed by the Directors for WSP in the UAE. My contract calls for me to be paid for a end of contract bonus. I was not able to get the entired amount from WSP before leaving the UAE. I had to say I would take a payment schedule and the company signed it and they have NOT kept any of their payment dates. Now WSP has said they send my October 08 pay on 10-27-08 and the bank locally can't find it. I am getting the runaround from the payroll admistration clerk at WSP and she keeps infering that I don't trust her. Well, why should I? I owe her nothing and she is working for WSP not me. This is and has nothing to do with this woman but she is trying to make it a personal issue. It is nothing personal with this woman at WSP. It's a business contract and she is administering over it and it's always late and now lost. I want to report these people and the company to the authorties inside KSA, the UAE and UK! How do I go about this? And I have another payment due already. Plus the lost amount that is out there somewhere.   We are talking about US $17K and this is not funny anymore and my patients are growning thin. I have not been able to do anything between this job and my new for fighting for my money from the old company wsp.I am having to call this woman everyday and I get the story that their bank sent it or that its about to be sent. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Also I am considering taking a job for a company in Oman and they will base me in Dubai. They say they do not wire money to the USA. Why is that? Is that a law or something? Do I need to have a labor card to work in the UAE if I am working for a foreign country inside the UAE? And if so how do I apply for one and what information will I need?
