Don't know what to try. The only thing I did was prime the carb. It seems like there is no fuel getting to the carb.

Answer

Hello, sounds like the first thing you may want to do is to check all of the fuses. It is possible that there was a voltage spike when you connected the battery and may have blown a fuse. If they all check good (test them with a tester, not just by looking) the next area of concern would be to see if the fuel pump is working or not. If you remove the gas cap and listen inside the tank you should be able to hear the fuel pump hum when you first turn the key on. It will only run for 2 seconds and then run again when the starter motor is engaged. If the pump runs, then we need to do a fuel pressure test to see how much pressure it is putting out. If it does not run, we need to test for voltage at the gray wire going to the top of the fuel tank., It should have voltage for the first 2 seconds when you turn the key on or again when the starter is engaged. If you have power and the pump does not work the pump will need to be replaced. Let me know what you find and we will go from there. Thanks

Do I get to try your suggestion first before I accept? Or do I pay now and if it does not work then I have to get back with you and I pay again for more suggestions?

Answer

You only pay me when and if you are happy with an answer. I will be here either way. If what you have so far does not find the problem, get back to me by posting here again and we will go as far as we need to, to find the problem. You only need to accept one time, follow ups are included. Thanks
