Question

My girlfriend is in Cilest. She wanted to delay her period so she finished the pack of active pills on July 12th and started a new one one July 13th. She only took 11 of them and stopped. She started bledding a few days later. What is going to happen to her? Is she going to be OK? Is something going to happen to her in the future? When does she has to start her new pack of pills? thanks

Answer

Hi

This is normal after delaying a period using the method you described. She should start her new pack of pills the fifth day after her period starts. Her cycle should get back to normal shortly thereafter.

Hope that helps, if it has, I'd appreciate your clicking on the accept button.

Thanks,

Kerry

Reply to Kerry's Post: Thanks for ur answer but I think I'd like to have an answer a little bit more specific. She took active pills up to July 23th and she started bleeding in July 25th. This bleeding is what she should consider her period or is breakthrough bledding? If this is her period where should she start a new pack on July 30th? THanks

Accepted Answer

Okay, with this pill, Cilest, there are 7 inactive pills in each pack, so if your friend started her period on the 25th, she should wait 7 days rather than 5. So she should start the active pills on the 1st of August.

Hope that answers your question.

If not, write back!

Kerry
