hello , I own a 1995 bmw 525i with 258,000 miles on it, was smogged and passed last week, the problem I have started wednesday, my odometer and information lights are going crazy? second problem is now the engine developed a miss in one of the cylinders, I replaced the coil packs with some spares I have , ran fine tothe store then acted up again ? is this an electrical problem??     ray

Already Tried:
replace coil packs, disconnected the battery as possibly resetting the computer .. no go!

Hi you will have to check for air leaks and the idle control valve can get sticky, another thing is the coolant temp sensor can make the engine run bady, when its faulty.

if the odometer lights are flashing off and on then you will have a fault with the L E D s and will need to be removed and repaired, Hope this helps.
