Question

Crossed jumping cables when jumping car off my 2003 Impala on accident only for a second now the stereo does not work, first thougt was a fuse but don't know where to locate it. There are no markers telling me which fuse it is. I have located a fuse block on the drivers side dash, but not sure if the fuse is in there or which one it might be to check.

Answer

Welcome XXXXXXX. The radio fuse is a 15 amp fuse in the right IP fuse block. Have you checked everything else to make sure it works? HERE is the location in the right IP.

Is there anything else?

Answer

There is only 1 fuse. The radio is turned on by a message over the network to telling it to turn on. The BCM or body control module sends this message based on inputs from the ignition switch. To properly diagnose this you need to view data over a scan tool.

This does not look like our fuse block that you sent

Accepted Answer

There is a fuse block on either end of the instrument panel and below is another picture of the right side. I have confirmed that it is for a 2003 chev impala.
