Question

I have a 2001 Monte carlo and the left signal quits working sometimes.If I put the four ways on the signal light starts working again.The traction control light is also on all the time.

Hi, do you have the typed of hazard switch that is located in the dash panel? If so this not only controls the 4 ways but also controls the turn signals. Since you stated that you get the turn signal to work when you push on the 4way switch i would say that the most likely cause is a defective 4 way switch. Its a pretty common failure.
