Hello and welcome to Just Answer.
Assuming that the correct fuel injectors are installed and that the fuel pressure is ok, the most likely cause of this complaint is a faulty fuel pump relay.
I'm assuming that the "no pulse " message is referring to the fuel pump. If you are referring to the injectors, you'll need a noid light to verify this.
Your truck is equipped with a fuel injection pump relay that is turned on momentarily after the ignition is turned on after it has been off for 10 seconds. Once you start cranking the engine, this relay is again turned on once distributor reference pulses are received at the computer.
The fuel pump relay has 4 wires on it.
ORANGE (FEED)
TAN/WHITE (OUTPUT TO PUMP FROM RELAY)
BLACK/WHITE (GROUND)
DK GREEN/WHITE (TRIGGER FROM COMPUTER)
Try disconnecting the relay and jumping from the orange wire to the tan/white wire. If this causes the pump to run and the engine starts better, you'll need to get a testlight to check the other circuits at the relay or replace the relay.
Please let me know if you require further information.
