Question
I divorced my husband in 1975 and signed a Quit Claim Deed on what I thought was joint property after 3 years of marriage. However, I recently found out that my name is still on a Deed for a parcel of land in Arizona that we purchased after marriage. It is not known if he tried to hide this property or if it was a mistake. ( note: there are three other family members on the deed) Do I have a right to require my ex-husband to by out my interest. (He has since remarried)

Optional Information
Marina Del Rey, California
Already Tried:
Talked with the Recorder's Office in Maricopa County, Arizona to verify the names that are currently listed as the owners of the parcel of land. Made Unofficial copies of all action taken on said property since the purchase in 1975. Asked my ex-husband to by out my interest, but he said I have no right to that interest now.
Accepted Answer
If your name is on the deed and was not covered by the divorce, you can seek to have your ex buy you out or begin an action to force the sale by partition and divide the proceeds.
