Hello XXXXXXX, the first thing you need to do is retrieve the codes that are in memory. Once we get those codes, we can narrow in on the cause. To retrieve the codes, you jump terminals A & B in the diagnostic connector. you can use a paper clip and insert it into these terminals. The check engine light will flash. Count the flashes. The first set of flashing is the first digit of the codes and after a very short pause the second digit will flash. Each code will flash 3 times then the next code will flash. There will be a longer pause between codes. Here is a diagram of the diagnostic connector to help you identify the terminals. The connector is located under the left side of the dashboard. After you get the codes, let me know and I'll guide you in a direction.
