If we turn our motor home back to the bank because we can not pay for it, and they turn the account over to a collection agency, can they garnish my husband's retirement check or our Social Security checks?

They can garnish his retirement check but not the social security checks.

I failed to say that he gets a disibility check from the government as well as a small retirement check. He was in the service for 22 years. Could they both be garnished>\?

Disability is exempt from granishment but retirement checks can be garnished.

My husband said that I should have told you, military retirement and military disability checks if that makes a differance
